Meet our Artists for November 17th concerts

Milos Bjelica is a passionate clarinetist and educator dedicated to sharing the joy of classical music with audiences of all ages. Originally from Serbia and now based in Boston, Milos brings over 26 years of experience to his performances, having played widely across Europe and the United States. With a Doctorate in Musical Arts from Boston University and multiple degrees in performance, he’s known for blending classical, jazz, world, and Serbian music, often performing in unconventional venues to make music more accessible. Milos’s recent work includes creating unique concert experiences for babies and families, aiming to nurture early musical appreciation.

Jacob LyteHaven is an accomplished pianist with a rich background in both Piano and Vocal Performance. Holding a Bachelor of Music from Stetson University and a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from Boston University, Jacob has honed his craft under the guidance of esteemed teachers like Michael Rickman, Sean Kennard, and Sheila Kibbe. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned artists such as Martin Katz and Vyacheslav Gryaznov. With performances spanning the United States, Europe, and Central America, Jacob is currently an active collaborative pianist, teacher, and coach in the Greater Boston area, where he shares his passion for music through his dynamic and engaging performances.

Liubomyr Senyshyn, originally from Ukraine, is an accomplished violinist with a rich background in both solo and ensemble performances. Before moving to Boston, he was a member of the Austrian-Ukrainian K&K Philharmoniker, performing over 120 concerts annually in iconic venues like Berliner Philharmoniker and Wiener Musikverein. Liubomyr co-founded the Attacca School of Music in Belmont, MA, and is a dedicated teacher at the Cremona International Music Academy in Italy, where his students consistently achieve success in international competitions. As a chamber musician, he’s part of the Glenside Quartet and Temper Trio.

Margaret Boswell is a pianist, composer, and educator passionate about bringing music to life through teaching and performing. She is the co-founder of Attacca School of Music, where she directs the Piano Department and mentors students of all ages. As a composer, Margaret’s works, like her recent Meditation for Violin and Piano, have been performed internationally, and her Trio on a Ukrainian Folk Song has resonated worldwide, offering solace and connection in challenging times. Her creative journey spans classical compositions, film soundtracks, and even indie projects, reflecting her versatile and heartfelt approach to music.

​Do we need any preparation for the Baby Artysh concert?

​

No special preparation is needed. We provide a puzzle play mat on the floor where we remove our shoes to enjoy the concert and activities. If your child is walking, you can bring clean shoes for them to wear, but this is optional.

How long does the Baby Artysh concert last?

​

The concert lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.

 

How many adults can come with the baby?

​

Each baby can be accompanied by up to two adults.

​

What is the youngest age at the Baby Artysh concert?

​

The youngest baby at our concerts so far has been 2 months old. If you're considering attending, it's helpful if your baby has already been around people other than their primary caregivers and isn’t overly sensitive to sound. If your baby becomes uncomfortable during the concert, feel free to step out at any time.
